Assessment Evalution

"At Vikas Global Public School, we believe that a robust and transparent assessment system is essential for evaluating the progress and potential of every student. Our Assessment and Evaluation Policy is designed to promote continuous learning and holistic development."
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)
  • The school follows a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation framework to assess students' performance throughout the academic year.
  • The focus is on both academic progress and the development of essential life skills, attitudes, and values.
Formative and Summative Assessments
  • Formative Assessments (FAs): Conducted regularly to monitor students' progress, including classwork, homework, projects, quizzes, and oral presentations.
  • Summative Assessments (SAs): Conducted at the end of each term to evaluate overall understanding and performance in key subject areas.
Grading and Feedback
  • Students are assessed on a grading system, ensuring a fair and non-stressful evaluation process.
  • Constructive feedback is provided to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Skill-Based Assessment
  • In addition to academics, students are assessed on critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills through various activities and projects.
  • Co-curricular achievements in art, sports, and other activities are also recognized as part of the evaluation process.
Parent-Teacher Collaboration
  • Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) are organized to keep parents informed about their child’s progress and discuss strategies for improvement.
  • Teachers provide detailed progress reports that reflect both academic and non-academic performance.
Individualized Support
  • Special attention is given to students who require additional support through remedial sessions and enrichment programs to ensure no child is left behind.
