Medical Examination and Recovery
- If a student exhibits symptoms such as fever, rashes, or any contagious signs, they should undergo a medical examination. The child should only return to school after receiving a doctor’s clearance.
- After recovering from an infectious illness, students must stay at home for the quarantine period as recommended by their doctor to prevent the spread of infection to others.
Medical Fitness Certificate
-
Before returning to school, a medical fitness certificate signed by a licensed doctor must be submitted to the school office to ensure that the student is fit to attend classes.
Quarantine Period Guidelines
The following quarantine durations are recommended for common infectious ailments:
- Chicken Pox: 3 weeks (until all scabs have fallen off)
- Measles: 2 weeks
- Mumps: 2 weeks
- Conjunctivitis: 1 week
- Jaundice: 4 weeks
Important Note:
- Parents are requested to inform the school in case of any infectious illness affecting their child, and follow the prescribed isolation period. This ensures the well-being of other students and the school community.
